AI website builder
An AI website builder is a software product that generates a complete, deployable website from a natural-language prompt — usually without requiring code.
An AI website builder is a software product that turns a text prompt (e.g. 'a landing page for my dog-walking service in Brooklyn') into a finished, hostable website. Modern AI website builders typically include a design system, a template library, hosting, and a chat-based editing loop.
AI website builders differ from traditional website builders (Wix, Squarespace, Webflow) in that the user describes their site rather than designs it block by block. They differ from AI code editors (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in that the output is a deployed website, not source files.
Examples of AI website builders include Website Killer, Lovable, Bolt.new, Emergent, and Vercel's v0.
Example
A founder types 'a coming-soon page for my SaaS launching in Q3, with email capture and a countdown timer' and receives a live URL within 5 minutes.
